191. The Freemasons are behind the conspiracy to hide the truth about flat Earth

"From Pythagoras to Copernicus, Galileo and Newton, to modern astronauts like Aldrin, Armstrong and Collins, to director of NASA and Grand Commander of the 33rd degree C. Fred Kleinknecht, the founding fathers of the spinning ball mythos have all been Freemasons!  The fact that so many members of this, the largest and oldest secret society in existence have all been co-conspirators bringing about this literal “planetary revolution” is beyond the possibility of coincidence and provides proof of organized collusion in creating and maintaining this multi-generational deception."

The reason Dubay is spouting this nonsense is because flat earth theories can only exist if there is some grand global conspiracy.  Since NASA was only formed in 1958 flat earthers need some other organisation to blame the conspiracy on before then.  The Freemasons are as good as anyone else I suppose.

But Pythagoras!  Most agree that the Freemansons were formed in the middle ages in England.  A little late for Pythagoras.  However whether these people were freemasons or not is irrelevant.  The main take away for you should be that once again Dubay shows that he is willing to make things up and state them as fact.

The fact that, if this was how reflections worked, that the same would be true on a flat Earth seems to have escaped Dubay's notice. Debunking Eric Dubay's 200 proofs the earth is not a spinning ball

Conspiracy Baloney aims to provide resources to counter to the influence of the crazy anti-science conspiracy theories that are out there. This blog is specifically to debunk Eric Dubay's " 200 proofs the earth is not a spinning ball", that I have found flat earthers often cite. There are quite a few resources out there that comprehensively debunk this book, but I think that one more voice can only help.  I have tried to keep the rebuttals as non technical as possible. Eric Dubay’s proofs are laughably simplistic and demonstrate an almost complete lack of understanding of maths and anything scientific or technical. A list of "proofs" that show Dubay is an idiot He also likes to give historical quotes as proofs.  Typical are quotes from the 1800’s but he even has one from before 1600!.  Not only are these opinions not proof of anything, but the fact that he can’t provide quotes from more up to date sources destroys their credibility.
