99. Polaris should not be visible in the southern hemisphere on a spherical Earth

"Viewed from a ball-Earth, Polaris, situated directly over the North Pole, should not be visible anywhere in the Southern hemisphere. For Polaris to be seen from the Southern hemisphere of a globular Earth, the observer would have to be somehow looking “through the globe,” and miles of land and sea would have to be transparent. Polaris can be seen, however, up to over 20 degrees South latitude."

This is a blatant and shameless lie

Polaris cannot be seen south of the equator.  Dubay has once again been caught in another blatant and shameless lie.

Dubay follows a pattern.  Wherever there is easily observable proof that the Earth is not flat Dubay tries to discredit it by denying the observation … which of course he must in order to keep up the lie.

Here is a star trail image facing towards Polaris taken from the equator.  As you can see it is already obscured by the terrain on the horizon, and any further south it would sink further below the horizon.

Dubay of course offers no actual evidence such as a photograph of Polaris taken from the southern hemisphere.  How hard would that be?  No need to even travel to the southern hemisphere because there are so many people worldwide that take images of the night sky and post them on the internet.  All Dubay would need to do is search the Internet.  Maybe he has, but of course he has not come up with anything because there are no such photos in existence.

The more I go through his proofs the more I am convinced that he doesn’t really believe this nonsense himself, but is instead just taking advantage of the gullible for self-promotion and profit.
