144. The Moon appears upside down in the southern hemisphere on both a globe Earth and a flat Earth

"Pictures of the Moon appearing upside-down in the Southern hemisphere and right-side up in the North are often cited as proof of the ball-Earth, but once again, upon closer inspection, provide another proof of the flat model. In fact, time-lapse photography shows the Moon itself turns clockwise like a wheel as it circles over and around the Earth. You can find pictures of the Moon at 360 degrees of various inclination from all over the Earth simply depending on where and when the picture was taken."

Another Straw man

Yes it is true, there are some flat Earth opponents who understand almost as little of how things work as the flat earthers they are trying to debunk.  As Dubay says this particular argument is false.  The Moon appears upside down in the southern hemisphere whether the earth is a sphere or whether it is flat.

This is not a proof that the Earth is flat.  It is only a proof that this specific argument is not a proof that it is a sphere.

More importantly, flat earthers cannot explain other details of the observed moon.  See the response to proof 131 to see why it is impossible that the Moon is a disk.
